We provide essential services to support animal shelters and sanctuaries in El Dorado County. Our efforts focus on organizing impactful events, recruiting dedicated volunteers, and promoting the adoption of animals in urgent need of homes. Through these actions, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and the community.

Fat Kitty City Sanctuary Overview

Intake & Capacity:

Weekly Intake: 3-4 cats
Current Population: ~250 cats (and counting)
Capacity: ~310 — no animal is turned away

Adoption & Support:

Monthly Adoptions: Up to 10 cats find homes each month
Foster Support: Relies heavily on fosters for cats with extra needs
Adoption Partners: Some cats are available through local Petco stores

Care & No-Kill Policy:

No-Kill Sanctuary: Every animal, regardless of age, health, or circumstance, is given a chance at life.
Comprehensive Care: Free vaccines, spay/neuter services, and dental care are provided to all cats.
